Saratoga to Eureka

I joined a few friends for a poker run, they were all on quads and me in my prerunner.

We staged just a few miles south of Saratoga, made our way across the desert, up 10 mile (nick-named the gauntlet) and headed south toward Eureka.

Unfortunately at around 30 miles my radiator mount broke, cracking the plastic radiator housing, blowing antifreeze and I had to bail on the rest of the crew but I was able to get a few pictures along the way and we finished the poker game before we split ways. Dave won with triple 10's. :2thumbs:

I've done this route a few times myself. Which way did you head South toward Eureka? Did you follow the power-line trail (now marked as Private Property) to Little Moab or follow the trail S/W toward Allen Ranch Road?

Edited to add: I've also done this route starting from Israel Canyon via up-n-over the top of that mountain, then back down to Soldier Canyon (I think that's what its called).
