Click on the image to load up the flash viewer page, for the iphone viewer see the link below each picture

I posted a few panoramas that I've been meaning to process for a while. I've also made some changes to the way I post them with the viewer - now it will load much faster and only download the detailed tiles as you zoom in.

Also, I've now got an iPhone / iPad viewer that you can use if you are one of "those people" (if you are an Android user, you can load the normal flash player and it will work on your phone)

Hiked the Y last week when it was lit for homecoming and took a panorama up there.

The iPhone / iPad / Safari 5 Y Pano viewer (http://offloaded.ryebrye.com/panoramas/10-08-2010-YLitAtNight/NoflashViewer.html) (not as good as the Flash viewer, so only use if you have a device without flash support)

Also, I've updated how I post these on my blog so I'm loading them all up in a lightbox. I haven't had a chance to update all the past ones - and some of them might not load at the moment (but I'll fix that soon enough as I convert them all to the new viewer format).

To get more details on this one, I have the blog article about the Panorama Of the "Y" on the mountain at Night (http://www.ryebrye.com/blog/2010/10/15/panorama-of-the-y-lit-up-at-night/)

One question About this Pano
If you zoom in on the mountains up behind the Y - there are three sets of numbers or letter clearly written on the side of the mountain. I'm not sure what they are there for and Google didn't help me at all.

There isa "6G" or "60", a "4T" and a "9" written up there - not sure why. They must be quite large to see them so big on the cliff face.

On the approach to Mount Nebo - 9/24/2010 (an old one I finally stitched)

blog article with a description of the shot (http://www.ryebrye.com/blog/2010/10/15/stopping-by-the-woods-on-the-hike-to-mount-nebo/)

This one's backstory isn't quite that interesting - just shot this on the hike up Mount Nebo the night we shot the one at the summit.

Hmm... I guess I named this album wrong - because this one isn't anywhere near Utah County... woops.

Well, I'm flattered - but frankly I think the same thing about most of the other photos that get posted here. I think it's a lot easier to see other's people's photos and think 'DAMN' and see your photos and think 'Hmm... the bottom corner of that leaf in the corner of that image is out of focus, how embarassing' - (or at least maybe that's what I tell myself so I feel better about myself when I see some of the awesome shots that get posted here ;) )

We could do a bogley party sometime and I could do a demo on the process... I'd have to be after Christmas when Santa delivers my EF-S 10-22 or else one of you would be going home wondering where your UWA lens went ;)

It's a lot of fun, but it also takes a LOT of time to stitch these things - I finally broke down and bought PtGui which gets me access to 9 beta - which has some features to make it faster - but it's still a lot of work to do the outdoor ones with moving people and stuff. But... It's really addictive and fun.

I think maybe I'll write my own quick guide to getting started in spherical panos next week with some recommendations so anyone interested can put stuff on their Christmas / Hanuka / Kwanza / Whatever-you-want list :)

Awesome shots indeed. I'd be interested in a quick guide for sure, although my patience for post processing is pretty weak! ;)
