Mikey - nice video, yo! But--No matter how good...It can't do the trip justice! Epic!!! We cranked it up to 11...just ask the Ouray hotsprings... Stoke-0-Broke-O 2010 was off the hook!

One of the best of trips of 2010...and that's saying ALOT for the YEAR OF STOKE!!!

The Corbett slot was definitely sweet and the most Utah-ish of the four, but they were all great & lots of fun. It looked like the section of Cascade below where we escaped had some pretty slot sections too. Enthusiastically recommended on their own, even better with a sprinkling of AJ & Brejcha!

Fun fact: Corbett (and a few other Ouray area canyons) cuts into the Cutler Formation, which is found around southern Utah (Professor Creek area near Moab, for instance). So yeah, it looks Utah-ish. Or rather, those areas of Utah look Colorado-ish ;) (the formation is named after Cutler Creek near Ouray, and itself is named for one of the early Ouray pioneers. Sadly, Cutler Creek doesn't have much in the way of canyoning though). M
