The "Stabilization" of Delicate Arch

Pretty interesting read about how the park wanted to "Stabilize" Delicate Arch. It gives you some great insight into how "the park" thinks....

The biggest item to me what how a simple thought snowballs in a bureaucracy.... this is how I see most permit systems in the National Park system... someone asks if a permit system might be a good idea and next thing you know we have one. No one stops along the way to ask if it is really a good/necessary/required item....

Or did over five decades ago?

I don't get what this has to do with the permit system? Please explain.

Anyway, it seems that they should have stablized Wall Arch first.:haha: I'm willing to bet that Landscape Arch falls down before Delicate Arch.
