Englestead?

Anybody been lately? Any suprises? Going to give it a go on tuesday. We plan on going out Orderville. Tried to get one of the shuttle girls to hike in and haul our rope back for a very nice tip but she declined. I guess the shuttle girls must make serious coin working for ZACs. We waved the token $100 under her nose but she didn't bite.:crazy:

did Englestead yesterday. No surprises...

we went up Orderville and were lucky enough to have some friends pull our long ropes and hike them out.

I went down in mid August, after a hard two day rain. The entire canyon was dry as a bone, even after the rain. Only significant sign of rain water came going down Orderville which was muddy. No surprises in Englestead for us.

I had my wife, daughter, and daughter-in-law haul our 300 footer back to the vehicles. Cost me a Shakespearean play in Cedar City the night before.....grand total for 7 people was $230.00

We went through yesterday and Orderville was a freaking waterpark. There was one swim and a lot of water elsewhere. We got a late start and ended up hitting the last part of Orderville in the dark. We missed the last shuttle and I had a good jog back to the Lodge. I'll post the TR soon.
