Been wanting to go biking in PC for a while so tonight and tommorow is the time, I think tonight I will hit the Flying Dog starting in Glenwild, look for about 16 miles or so? Any other reccomendations? I would like to ride Mid mountain but dont have the whole day to do the 20+ miles so that is probably not an option but I would like to hit it. Also have been wanting to ride tour de suds since I rode a part of it a couple of weeks back. What trails are your favorite up in PC?

I like taking the tram up, going past all the old mines, going on the single-tracks and then riding down on main street back to the chair lift (alpine slides). The trail down next to the alpine slides was steep but really fun...although short.

Post trip report, although I did have the camera, I chose to do the 17 mile loop and was pressed for time agianst the sun so I didnt take any photos, colors are just changing and were awesome, some very pink oaks mixed in with some nice yellow quakies. I ran over two snakes was scared shitless twice by killer deer thinking I was a car that were dodging me on the singletrack. The route I took begain at the Kimball Juntion / Glenwild parking lot, I jumped onto stealth until 4.5 miles where I jumped onto flying dog, the first 4.5 miles were sage brush west facing buff trails with a little up and down climbing that was quick and easy. Mile 4.5 I jumped onto the flying Dog which finally got me out of the sage and into the quakies for some short climbs, at this point I had climbed about 800 feet. Mile 8.9 was still rolling and switchbacking uphill going around the mountain and through thick quakies, very pretty and nice buff trails, 9.0- 10.5 downhill untill I jumpoed on the cobblestone loop which was shorth but with some rollers and into the flat land with singletrack winding through the tall grasses. 11-12.5 miles sweet downhill singletrack coming on the back side of glen wild, very fast and very nice trail conditions. 12-15 miles when the legs were warm and the butt was sore I jumped onto the glenwild loop and climbed all the switchbacks to the top of the moutain some were granny gear worth because the short steep nature and the somewhat tired legs, mile 14.2 crossed over the ridge and pure downhill on the glenwild loop back to the parking lot which was 17.1 miles, very nice way to have a couple hour ride and get a little bit of a sweat going! Very nice loop and I reccomend everyone try it out!
