Dont buy off SAC!
New warranty policy is only 30 days.

I picked up a 5000ci pack and on its first trip the shoulder strap broke!!!!!! Luckily I created the RMA on the 28th day or I would of been SOL and stuck with it.
If you buy directly from backcountry.com everything has a lifetime warranty. Only time I get SAC items now is if its some unbelievable deal or something I will be content with losing after only 30days... sucks.

Sorry to derail Stefan but I dont want anyone here to get screwed just for trying to save a few bucks with SAC

good to know about the new warranty. If I had a smart phone I would download their app. But I do not

All manufacturer warranties are in effect on stuff bought at SAC. A 30-day return policy is reasonable to me for this kind of website.....if you have a problem after the 30 days, then you can contact the manufacturer.

Typical manufactures exchanges can take weeks where backcountry will take only a day or two.
That makes a huge difference to me.

Returning things and dealing with customer service departments really has become a hobby of mine. I have called backcounty after missing items on sac and ended up getting them at near sac price. That's how I got my mtn smith camera bag and it ended up ripping after 6 months. I got a full refund for that in just over 24 hours I used the cash to help buy a bigger and better bag.

Can't beat that.
