My work flow has been a complete cluster but I think I got it figured out (still lots of room for improvement). All the footage was shot in my friends back yard on my 7D.

looks like there might be some interlace flicker in there... what are your conversion settings?

I have known this guy for 16 years and he has always been riding and building ramps for a living.

.mov directly out of the camera - processes in Vegas - then exported in a .mpg format
looked better before it went to the web

it might be something with how vegas is processing the footage. so many possibilities... try editing the footage though in progressive, not interlaced. can't remember what i used to use on the 7d, but if it was 60fps out of camera, i know vegas would often screw up the interlace.

perhaps there is a global setting to force it to interpret footage as progressive? i wish i had some 7d files in front of me to look at...
