Looking for a 2GHz+ laptop...

I could get super specific, but let's start there...for now...

I take it you want a PC? I've got a slightly older 17" Macbook Pro (pre-unibody era) that is around that speed with a Core2 Duo. Works fine, but I've got two other laptops now that are faster and so whenever I get around to wanting to post the details I'll be putting that one up for sale.

Hmm... I can look up a fair price - but looks like they go for around $900 (with some people asking up to $1200) on ebay... so... maybe $800 sounds fair to me? :ne_nau:

It is in good condition with the keyboard and screen - but there is a minor ding on the trackpad (my son dropped a screwdriver on it - created a small dark spot / small dent on the trackpad :cry1: - I can take a pic of it) :vader: [my son made me put that graphic in:peepwall:It' got a 7200 RPM drive in it and 4GB of RAM (although this particular model only addresses 3GB of RAM - so it only effectively has 3GB but having 2 matched 2GB RAM sticks in it makes it slightly faster than having just 1GB and 2GB)

2.33 GHz Core 2 Duo.

I also have a newer Macbook Pro unibody with a 17" glossy screen, 500GB 7200 RPM drive, 8 gigs of RAM that was top of the line in December - but I'd probably want $2-3k for that one (I'd have to look up a fair price on it)
