so, when i was a kid the first computer my family had was the original macintosh in 1984
and that same year i learned poker playing the game Mac-Poker.

that computer still works 26 years later and i recently made this short video of the game on it using the iphone.
i thought i'd share it with y'all.

for those interested, it's running the original apple macintosh system/finder 1.0 released in jan 1984
which, mind you, is about 237K on the disc and loads very quickly

When my brothers and I were roughly 6 to 10 years old my Dad would call us into the bedroom on Saturday mornings and give us our 25 to 30 cent allowance in nickles. We would sit on the bed in our underwear and play poker to see if we could improve our take. Mom didn't approve. Some weeks we made a couple cents but mostly just gave dad back our allowance. God I miss the 60s!!!
