Camped at Perfect Pass, we left and traveled the largely closed glacier (Cool
spring, little melting) to the arete and the 5.7 pitch up to the tiny summit
that was also 5th class and exposed to get on and off. Then we traversed the
huge Luna Cirque, sliding quickly by and under massive icefalls. Then 3,000 feet
of ascent up to the Luna-Fury ridge and a camp with a view. Fore runner clouds
were a concern as we headed to bed, with the elusive Mt. Fury on the schedule
for the next day
