I guess I overlooked this thread when I started posting on here. So I will do this proper. I will say so far, this community is awesome. I hope I can contribute in some positive ways.

Yeah, that day I caught that Brookie was cosmic. We woke up and almost got fried by lightning, then ended up at one of the ponds up there and I got that guy. It fed 4 people and a dog! Best fish I have ever eatin for sure.

Likewise on the backpackers comment. I have participated in a lot of outdoor activities over the years, nothing seems to bring me back to focus like getting away from this plastic existence like visiting the backcountry. I can actually relax out there. Kind of hard for me to do that here in the city. Too much distraction.

I also like hiking a lot. The Tri-Canyons are my backyard. I have hiked 99% of the 200+ miles of trails up there. There are only a handful of areas I have not been in, and those are in short order to be visited soon.

Snowboarding is probably my worst addiction. They say powder is addicting..................... :snowguy:
