Thank you, Tom, for sharing this today. I was able to spend a few days on the hills east of Zion over the past few days. The flowers were out and it was nice to be there... but I didn't take any pictures of the flowers. I was too busy making sure that Boy Scouts were having a good time... so, thanks for taking these pictures.

Very nice, Tom. We took a walk on the Parus Trail with our dog last weekend, couldn't believe the number of watermelons growing.

Nice, Tom. That looked like some craziness in Kolob. Great shots though....:2thumbs: I'll tell some buddies of mine who think they are going in to have a back up plan.

Boundary continues to flow and is delightful. Recommended!

Of course, the easy way to get them to do Boundary is just give them Shane's directions for Kolob. Which will take em right to the head of Boundary. :eek2:

After enjoying your flower raves over the last couple of weeks, I drove up to Lava Point yesterday morning - incredibly beautiful area. I had no idea what I have been missing up there. I just missed sun rise, but it was a real treat to have such a beautiful view to myself. I started to take pictures of some of the flowers, but I got distracted with nature's floral arrangements. I was delighted with the way in which the plants share the earth and bloom together in various colourful arrangements. I can't believe how many flowers there were along the road still at this time of the summer. I like to take pictures of dead trees and I was able to add a few photos to my collection.
