Lebron Sucks, what a selfish move on his park.
His career and legacy will forever be tainted.

lebron sucks? selfish? you gotta be kidding me. did he complete his contract? yes. was he able to shop around? yes. what does he really owe the cavaliers? not much as far as i am concerned. don't you think that the cav's were the ones who sere selfish? you know as soon as his domination started to slack in the future thay would have dropped him. the cav's just want him for the money too. isn't it the dream of every professional athlete to win the ring? do you really think the cav's have a chance of that? who cares about his legacy? did shaq's legacy and career get tainted when he left L.A.? no. did micheal jordans legacy suffer when he went to play baseball? no. besides now that he's gone, look at how much money is available to the cav's, to shop what is considered to be one of the most talent rich drafts in years.

look, i don't give a rat's a@@ about lebron, the cav's or basketball. or even have that much respect for over paid, whiny, rapist jocks. oops, got him confused with kobe for a second there. my bad. ihe's just trying to pay his bills. people just take this stuff way to serious. it's just a game with a ball. it's not like he's going into turn 3, 3 wide, at 185 mph.

consider the pot stirred. :angryfire:

Don't forget you are talking about a guy with "Chosen 1" tattooed across his back, refers to himself as King James, and GAVE UP during the Cavs final playoff games! Oh and the prime time media hoopla with EPSN to promote his decision.... LeBron has said he left the cavs "to join forces" with Bosh and Wade so he does not need to feel the pressure of scoring 30points a night... so basically a cop-out because he needs better help.

Did Michale Jordan, Bird, Stockton, or any other NBA greats do any of these things?

I agree with the salary caps, the millions they make are ridiculous.

My only problem with the move/decision was the way the narcissistic way he went about it. I dont have a problem with the move but come on did he really have to kick the city of Cleveland and state of Ohio in the junk on the way out the door?

He is free to do what he wants. Just like anyone of us. We do what is best for US and our FAMILIES. Period.

I do agree that the hoopla was ridiculous and made things worse for him. I also agree that his legacy is a bit tainted. Jordan did not leave Chicago and it took him 6 years to get his first ring and that was after watching the Lakers, Celtics and Pistons all win titles in front of him. He put Chicago on his back, no question. Yeah he had Pippen and others, but in my opionion he won more with less talent around him then anyone. :hail2thechief:

Lebron will be criticized for taking an easier road and that will hurt his overall leagacy...

Yes, I 100% agree.... We should cap what people earn in this country.... I think it is a farce that people can go out and earn what the market dictates.... Athletes, actors, CEO's, entertainers....I could go on and on.... I don't care if you do have skills that are marketable and people make millions of dollars off what you do....nor do I care what you provide for the economy.... I MAKE LESS....so it is clear that you are overpaid and that is shenanigans....

....and what is with this LeBron guy....taking less money and going to a worse team(could have gone to Chigcago, who is FAR BETTER equipped to win a Championship) to play with his friends.... WTF! Kids nowadays....

Anyway, I am done with this rant....I think you get my point....

But if you really want to discuss it....I am willing to play....

I guess you didn't consider a player like Karl Malone great....? In the end, the major reason big name players rarely leave their team.... $MONEY$ It is built into the CBA to help teams hold onto their free agents....

That doesn't mention the fact that players are meat to the franchise and will be dumped as soon as possible, if it helps the bottom line in any way.... There is no loyalty in professional sports....

As far as the media circus.... Blame the public and press.... They are who drive the circus you speak of.... LeBron just manipulated it into a way for him to give some money to charity...

Last but not least... Really, cap what a person can earn.....????

No offense to anyone, but I thought it was hilarious hearing the reaction of Ohio residents hearing that Lebron James was going to Miami. The players only loyalty is to themselves, which is okay. I am not even a fan. When MMA fighters switch organizations, I don't cry, well except this one time at band camp...
