July 3, 1130 hr. Aspen Grove side - upper trails snow covered (below Hidden Lakes area) steep snow fields. Some mote
danger. Ice axe recommended. Emerald Lake area 50% covered with snow. Lake frozen. Trail from Emerald Lake to
saddle covered with snow. Care needed here - fairly eposed. Large cornice above Timponogos Basin. Timp basin
mostly covered with snow. Conditions change rapidly so be prepared.
