Ok I am only doing this to see if I can embed a map with pics.
I am being ambitious this year and want to compete in the XTERRA competition at Snowbasin. I needed to find a ride that is at least 12 miles or longer with a good climb. I think I have found one for now may change my route later I think the climb needs to be more.
Anyhoo I rode from my house out to Santa Clara to the Barrell Roll trail. Not very technical but I liked the trail. The trail itself is about 6 miles in all that morning I rode 15 in 2:45:00 but I wasn't trying to go fast. Mostly taking my time and enjoying the gorgeous views.

Here is the map

On my way out I found a single track that starts from the dirt road and goes up past the water tower so you don't have to ride the dirt road up to the trail head. You can see the dirt road in the map to the left of my red trail line.
Ok I think I did it. I can now embed a slide show and a map. I feel accomplished.
