Oh hell I forgot what it was like living in a communal compound.... dam kids knocking on my door continually at 9AM until I answer. Seriously!!! If I don't answer the door GO TF AWAY!!!! I want my house back.

Thats ok I am pretty sure I scared the shit out of him and his brother. I look kinda like this.

And I gave the kid the evil eye and told him never ever ever ever knock on my door before 10AM and if I don't answer that means I don't want to and go away!

I think I need my coffee.

I like the idea! Zap them. Can I get a lightsaber sound to go off at the same time they knock on the door or even laser blasts. :lol8:

What I love about this thread, and my family always complains about this aspect of me too, is that I bet that when you are camping, exploring, on vacation, etc. you gleefully wake up at all sorts of early hours. But at home with no trail or canyon calling? No way.

I think scaring them, as you say you did, will keep them away for a while. And then maybe years, and decades go by and your house starts getting known as a "witch house" and people throw rocks at it and run, and dare other kids to go up and ring the doorbell on prom night and stuff like that. Yeah, it might work.:lol8::whistling:

I do that now with the toys. I have a rule that states i will return a ball or toy 3 times before the parents have to come get it. the kids and parents think i am an a$$ untill i make hte point as soon as the toy goes over their fence my kids ask for it then as soon as they sit down my kids ask again after the third time the parents get my rule. the kids get to be carefull about where they hit their ball... always works...:2thumbs:
