be held accountable for your actions.

Letter To My Eighteen-Year Old Self

Dude.... Don't ask me how, but I'm writing to you from the future. Don’t worry, things haven’t changed much aside from the fact that we have a black president and I walk around all day with a mini computer in my pocket.... Cars are faster and skirts are shorter.... But I stll haven't got a jet pack like the one we saw at the state fair. OK, things have changed.... But I don’t have time to get into it and you're probably in the middle of a very special episode of Dukes of Hazzard.... anyhoo...

Invest in Apple, Microsoft and Google.

Don't date strippers....

Next year when you start seizing motors drill three small holes in your main jet splash shield. It will save your #1 plate.

Make the time you spend with Cuz, Lucky Eddie and Mad Dog count, they will all be dead soon......

And when you walk into Shooters and see the most beautiful woman in the world you should buy her a rose..... she's going to be your smokin' hot wife one day.

:cool2:

What advice would you give your younger self? :ne_nau:

An 18-year-old whiz kid from New Mexico has won the $100,000 top award in the Intel Science Talent Search for developing a software navigation system to improve spacecraft travel through the solar system.
The award, given to Albuquerque Academy senior Erika DeBenedictis, was announced Tuesday night at the conclusion of the annual science competition, sponsored by Intel Corp. and the Society for Science and the Public.
Forty finalists competed in Washington during the six-day event, and each finalist received at least $7,500 in awards.
DeBenedictis' research played off the fact that the gravitational influence and movements of planets create

That's awesome! I love geeky, smart kids. All of mine are far smarter than I am. My 18-year old has 3 years of college in physics, and is going into the Navy's nuclear program later this year. When he tries to explain something to me, I'm like, that's that engineering language again. Back up. English. Hablos no engineeringo. I'm not sure of his Navy decision, but his sister made it a family tradition apparently and he *must* outrank her.

He doesn't see the glass as half empty or half full. He sees the wrong sized glass. :haha:

I'm not sure of his Navy decision,

I have a daughter that has her sights set on the Air Force academy.... I was cool with that until I found this picture. :lol8:

Searching online under wilderness camps for teens will provide you with many web sites. Camps are keen to discuss their services with concerned parents.
