Lots of folks have been working on some new singletrack north of Rainbow Gardens. Used to be you had to use the canal road for a while, now after the climb up from Rainbow Gardens (going north) you can go directly across the canal road and continue on singletrack. I helped weberpathways.org do some more work last night to help all the others who have put in many hours, and while it is still a little narrow, a little soft, and maybe a little steep in spots, it is rideable in both directions. Come help pack it out, try to stay off the soft downhill edge and have some fun. Better yet, volunteer to come out and put in an hour or two or three to polish it to a finished state. Easiest ridden from north to south.

The map shows the continuous singletrack waiting for you that extends from Rainbow Gardens to Jump Off Canyon trailhead, now with no canal road necessary.

sweet new singletrack is always nice and even better for early season riding onsome more exposed quick drying singletrack. Is there more times to volounteer coming up? I would be interested in joining forces for a bit to help the trail out.

Good job, Gene! Let me know when Snow Basin opens up. I need someone to be my guide! It was fun riding with you in Vernal!

Weberpathways.org is the group I help. They have a newsletter that announces trail maintenance that is accessible in the Volunteering tab on their website. Nothing scheduled as of now. I do believe that Bikers Edge in Kaysville works on trails in the area, and www.bonnevilleshorelinetrail.org has a volunteer signup, but I'm unfamiliar with the details of those groups.
