Went up yesterday morning for half day. The fishing was slow. I caught a couple decent bows in the soldier creek area using my lucky Jake's near the bottom. We also fished at renegade and caught nothing there. A big black crow decided to chew the eyeballs out of my fish and gut one of them for me. Bastard. :lol8:

I'll be throwing these on the BBQ tonight. :cool2:

Yeah, nice rainbows to take home for dinner. I cooked them up on Friday: http://thegoodfoodblog.com/fresh-rainbow-trout/

I have caught more fish on a Jakes then any other lure.

That last snow melted fast! The fish out of there really taste good. Usually just more drinking than fishing when we make it up there but its fun anyway!!:lol8:

That link on how to cook the fish is exactly how I cook the fish with one exception. I stuff the fish with raw almonds along with the butter and spices. The almonds are almost as good as the fish. I also like to cook them lake side if permissible. Build a little fire and throw the fish on the coals. Cooks in about 10 minutes depending on size of fish.
