Putzing around Utah County .....

As the snow melts I have slowly been working my up to higher elevations... Last Saturday I hiked Squaw Peak where there was plenty of snow once you got up around 6500'.

The spring run off was barley moving in Rock Canyon.

Sunday I hiked Stewart Falls with my 3yo son. No snow at all on the trail from Sundance but not much flowing water either.

Friday we made a short backpacking trip up Big Springs in Provo Canyon. The creek was moving pretty well and everything was really starting to green up.

Things cleared up a bit and we were able to shoot some star trails.

Yesterday we tired our luck hiking up Aspen Grove, we made it to the first waterfall before we ran into a pretty dense snow pack. There was a pretty awesome sun halo over Elk Point.
