So my wife and I are going to be spending a week in Vagas starting the 7th of June. We will be using some buddy passes to fly down so I won't have my own car just rentals if needed. So other than Casino fare and downtown crap what cool things - Hike etc- around Vagas do you recommend. Already thinking of hitting up the Valley of Fire one day...

Strippers are always a day well spent. :2thumbs:

But Red Rocks, Valley of Fire and the Hoover Dam tour are always good back-up plans....

The Imperial Palace Car Colection is also on my standard LV tour.

Hiking Goldstrike Hot Springs or the AZ Hot Springs are good....

Krab Buffet!

I take it the reason you spell it with a "K" is because it's imitation Krab. Just like everything else in LV :lol8:

gonna be hot. carry plenty of water and be alert for rattlers, especially down low.

LOTS of stuff to do in the desert, although this time frame is far from the best for it. VoF is real nice. red rocks is way over rated in my opinion, but it is neat. or you could head up into the spring mountains for some cooler temps. the bristlecone pine forest near mummy springs, accessible from the north loop trailhead on 158, is reeeeeally cool.

I like Red Rocks for hiking and scrambling.

Here are some suggestions for there from earlier this year: http://www.bogley.com/forum/showthread.php?38321
