I guess it's political-ish, but a very cool visual representation of the budget and the budget plan.

anyway, it was decided awhile back to create a political section for political topics whether they be contentions or not. we also created a rubbish bin too, but it hasn't really stopped people, even moderators, from postion objectionable comments in the general discussion.

I 100% agree with Stefan on this.

No matter how much sense something makes to you, or how right it may in fact be, all things political belong in "the basement".

I disagree. This kind of thing is worth seeing, not hiding in the basement. It's possible for the discussion to devolve into heated partisan debate, but it's not a given. People - Democrats, Republican, Independent - should all see this; it's great for perspective, and it's not inflammatory, per se. Quite fascinating, really.
