Made my wife watch this the other day. Such an amazing flick. The scene below has to be one of the best ever captured on film (love the announcer). The "Thunder in Your Heart" song from the race scenes is quite spectacular as well.

One of the best movies ever made.

I was really hoping when I saw the title that this would be a clip from the movie "Rad" and low and behold it was the best scene. Great show! I honestly thought I was the only one who remembered this movie.

Man...that brings back memories of begging mom every weekend at the Video Express to let us rent Rad one more time then going to work on our "sweet moves".

Totally!

Do you guys remember "Thashin"? I always think of these movies as going hand in hand.

I don't know how, but I never did see Thrasher. My brother and I were definitely in to skating. There were two half pipes in our neighborhood and we had a launch ramp, quarter pipe, railslides, etc. The video store around us actually had all the real skate moveis (Search for Animal Chin, Future Primitive) so we used to get those all the time.

Dude plays some good music now adays.

Another classic from my memory bank. I didn't remember it being so goofy though.
