2010 spring Texas turkey Hunt

I just arrived home from upper 80's tempetures and an awesome turkey hunt. I killed 3 turkeys and our group total was 17.

My friend kept referring to these turkeys as having softball size heads. I think that is a bit of an exageration, although they were all trophy size turkeys. Their heads were comparable to a baseball. You can see the relation to the truck ball hitch. The single that I am sitting behind had an 11" beard and 1-1/4" spurs. The others were nearly the same size. Two of my friends from the above pictures just sent me a phone text pic of 2 more large turkeys that they harvested this afternoon. If I can figure out how to upload video, I have some great video of me and my friend Steve harassing some hens. Three jakes also came in stutting. We just enjoyed making the video rather than pulling the trigger.
