National Park Week
To make it easier to experience America's Great Outdoors, the National Park Service is waiving entrance fees, so visitors can enjoy all 392 national parks for free April 17-25.

That really sucks. I'm going to be at Great Sand Dunes NP on the 24th & 25th. I usually avoid the free days...

I think that is the general attitude of all who use the parks often. See, we who use the parks often are the minority and the least listened to in my little 'ole opinion. But that comment is off topic and deeply seeded in resent for the Zion permit system...

I wouldn't worry about it. I find that the general public usually doesn't even know about the free days, so it doesn't effect visitation all that much.

Does this apply to Lake Powell (GCNRA)?

The free day applies to Glen Canyon, my comment does not. I have never been to Lake Powell on free day.
