Hey all,

Been watching the conditions reports, and haven't yet seen info on these; but
just wondering if folks have been in these canyons recently - or if you have any
thoughts/advice based on your experience with these canyons.

Likely to head out on Thurs 4/15 and hitting canyons near the Wash/Powell.
Likely doing Good Day Jim on Fri, Hard Day Harvey on Sat, and Woody on Sunday.
Since the winter has been wet, I'm thinking 3/2 full wetsuits at a minimum for
the warm-blooded. Those who run colder will likely need thicker (4/3 full?)
Will need to have high clearance vehicles, but don't think 4wd is necessary.

Also going to try to get out Wed 4/28. Thurs will be Yellow Brick Road and
Munchkin in Trachyte, Friday is Witches Cauldron and moving camp to Capitol
Reef. Saturday is Pandoras, Sunday is one or two of the reef canyons (Five
Mile, Cottonwood, or Burro). Again, since it's been wet, still thinking 3/2 for
warm; thicker for colder (4/3?) Will need high clearance vehicles for this one
too, but again, don't think 4wd is necessary.

I haven't done some of these canyons before (GDJ, HDH, Woody, Yellow Brick Road,
Pandoras) - so any recommendations/experiences are welcome. I've got Kelsey's,
Shane's and Ryan's info...

Thanks for your thoughts!
A.J.
