Thanks to Summit's report for giving me the idea - http://www.bogley.com/forum/showthread.php?38737-TR-Goblin-Farnsworth-Wild-Horse-Window-LWHC
I took the family down to the Goblin Valley area this weekend as my wife hadn't been there before. We also met up with extended family.
We've done Little Wild Horse Canyon a number of times and we were looking for something new, so we decided to give this a try.
The trail head isn't marked, as there really isn't a trail. But you can see the cavern from the road so you just start hiking up the slickrock towards it. It's an estimated mile from where we were parked.
We parked here:
38.650003,-110.661541
After the short walk up the sandy trail
32863
32864
You can see the cavern straight ahead
32865
32866
32867
32868
A few fake petroglyphs around
32869
32870
32871
And like others said, it was quite impressive in size.
32872
Tuckered out in the pack
32873
We later took a quick jaunt over to Goblin Valley and happened to run into Alex at the parking lot. :cool2:
