neat window. this is "devils fire" area, right ? a lot of pictures similar to your recent posts are on google earth to the southwest of whitney pocket. that is a real nice area... not aware of too many other places like this, but southern nevada is large and varied.

You're right there, we need to get busting before the heat comes on. We can do a Foto Fest but the weather will certainly play a part. I think it would have been pretty bland this weekend, for instance. How about if we put it off to the Fall when we get great weather and hopefully clear skies.

Fall might be good, how about the clouds during a monsoon rain? Might kill the heat some, dramatic clouds would really make this area pop.
