The skies opened up and the River Permit Gods shown down upon us... and I was able to accept Alex's invite after declining about 6 trips in a row....
The flows were @ 2,400 cfs. Some holes weren't there, but most were deep. :2thumbs:
We had 2 captains come out of their boat on Skull Rapid, and then one again on Sock It To Me. No flips though. We thought we caught them on film but it's quite distant, I'll see what I can do with some zooming in.
We launched at 11:10, got off at @ 6:00. 15 of us, 6 boats and 1 kayak. Most of us have met on other rivers prior, good folks. We were lucky enough to come upon a group with a motor on the final still water, so we all barged up and relaxed on our way to the ramp. Yes, those are 10' high banks of snow on the side. :cold:
Westwater, UT to Cisco, ut, the blue is the road route, the river is to the right:
39.08637,-109.101335 to 38.970341,-109.250525
Here are the goodies:

It was another great run on Westwater. It's fun no matter what the flow.
