Snowbird Freeskiing Comp and Riding - 03/20/2010

I got up to Snowbird today and spent a few hours watching skiers rip up Silver Fox as part of the Freeskiing World Championship (http://www.freeskiingworldtour.com/). Didn't get to see the women but the men killed it. It was hardpan but the skiers still went pretty big. Afterward, my buddy Hurley and I took a few laps and shot a few photos. The skiers are unknown to me and just happened to be hitting the same jump as Hurley. If any of you can get out for the finals tomorrow, I highly recommend it. They are on North Baldy which has some huge cliffs. Bring a few drinks, a lunch and sunblock!

A few years ago, I saw Julian Carr front flip this cliff (140 feet!!!)
