been a very wet year so far here in vegas and it has made for a lot of very nice lighting for hikes. as well as a very green mojave. saw a couple of good sized rams on this hike w/ big horns. neat.

Beautiful! I just looked at the other photos of that area you have on Summitpost. It looks like a great time to be hiking out there. :2thumbs:

thanks. & you've got a lot of nice photos at your picasa page. really liked the close up of the sand dune in the swell.

it is a great time to be hiking here. the dogwood (i think ?) trees were in full bloom a couple weeks ago or more and are now just green & we've had the heater off most of the time for about 2 weeks now. but there is a lot of snow in the higher mountains from all teh moisture that has moved thru.
