just saw this on KSL, and passing on the info to you guys. (But great, another hassle to enjoy the outdoors):
"SALT LAKE CITY -- If you plan on spending time in one of Utah's state parks this summer, you'll be jumping through a few extra hoops.
The Utah State Parks Reservation Office has implemented two new polices.
First, park officials will no longer accept cash or checks for advanced reservations.
Second, everyone who wants to use park services is now required to set up a camper profile at the state parks' website, even if you want to use services on a first come, first serve basis."
Cash will still be accepted for payment of fees for walk-in/drive-up visitors as far as I can tell.
