I am interested in possibly doing this race this fall. Just finishing will be a win for me. Have any of you done it in the past. If so what can you tell me about it. Run Leg? Bike Leg? Is it real hilly, or fairly flat? It will help me know what to focus on in training. Thanks in advance.

My brother is one of the owners of the event. There are some hills and rolling hills. It's a new run course this year that I've never been on. Suppose to be an easier run course. It looks like it removes the worst most sustain hill and worst short steep hill from the course. But I bet there are still some hills.

You can look at google earth and get a good idea of the max hill size.

Thanks for the info. That is more than I have been able to pick up anywhere else. As far as level of difficulty is it similar to a sprint triathlon, or is it closer to the Olympic level?

I assume you've seen the website?

The run is hilly, for sure. If it's the same run as the tri, and it looks like it is it's a little brutal.
I signed on for the BAM lite last year, but discovered that me and open water swimming do not get along! I think I might to this duathlon this year - looks fun and no swimming!!
