I liked this comment on the "board"...

Unfortunately the article as it appears has deleted much of the relevant information. The shooter is a democrat legislator who voted for years against gun ownership by individuals. This is the story - Yet another example of a democrat who wants to tell YOU what you can do, but does not restrict his/her own life to the same limitations and rules.

The man is a complete hypocrite, but in my view, he fits in as the perfect democrat legislator

How do you know he is anti gun? I read the article and only found a few comments where their opinion states he is anti gun or because he is a democrat he then has to be ant gun. If there were statements or bills he sponsored than I would understand.

Not all democrats are anti gun especially among the rural or western states. Hell Howard Dean was endorsed by the NRA during his terms as governor.

However, I would imagine his voting record would be clear but I have no intention of looking that up. I would assume that those in the state know what his record was. Were there any views to the contrary of the one I quoted? I don't remember.

So one of the opinion posters in the previous articles sited a local NC pro-gun group rating him a strong anti gun. Went and checked their website

[quote]As much fun as it is to catch anti-gun politicians in their own hypocrisy, this is not such a case. In the interest of fair play and truth, GRNC is compelled to point out that while not excellent, R. C. Soles is not a
