Not sure where the expression originated from - just a local thing that's been around for years. We've been the "aints" and had our paper bag years, but the fans have always, but always been faithful. Sounds better than those outsiders (tourists) who pronounce it New "Or-leenz". :roll: fwiw - officially and correctly (and the way I pronounce it) it is pronounced New Or-lee-ahnz. And it's "praw-leen" not "pray-leen" (praline) :2thumbs:
