Next month I turn 30, and I wanted to do something for my birthday that I have never done before....I wanted to buy a brand new vehicle, and not settle for anything other than exactly what I wanted....and that's exactly what I managed to do today. I had to drive over to Golden to get it, but it was well worth the drive :)
I got a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon in Dark Charcoal Pearl with all the options except a soft top....which I need to pick up before it starts to warm up around here

I have no plans to lift or modify this vehicle in any significant way for a few years. It will serve my current exploring needs as it sits with a few minor additions....like the Expedition One Trail Series front bumper with the Warn XD9000i that's been sitting in my garage for a while :)
I can't wait to get out exploring with this new rig
Ahhhh, go grab the CLAYTON LIFT (clicky) (http://claytonoffroad.com/product_info.php?cPath=15_22&products_id=44) and be even happier :haha:
Nice rig :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs: Happy Birthday :friday:

Excellent. And kudos on going with an automatic. It's been by far my favorite choice for every day driving with a wrangler.
I know some will argue though. :haha:

No argument here, manuals are way overrated :haha:

Congratulations and enjoy your new Jeep. It looks sweet!
Are you going to get any racks for gear?
I know I enjoyed the '09 I rented last spring for the Maze. I've been thinking about buying one ever since... :naughty:

I never had a problem keeping my gear inside my XJ...so I don't think I'll need a rack for my gear in this new Jeep

Sky,
I have a manual in my work truck however I have an automatic in my jeep. Two things ...... 1) Toque converters are a beautiful thing, they give you a great crawl ratio and 2) when you're sitting on a rock and your ass is puckered to the seat you have two less things to worry about ( a clutch pedal and a stick shift) :naughty: :naughty:
