Canyoneering in Belize?

Hey all,

I'm headed to Belize in Feb. Mostly for diving, but taking extra time to play. Haven't heard of any canyons there, but maybe you know of some? (Or, if you know of other things in Belize that shouldn't be missed, I'm more than happy to listen!)

you could try brian frankle, he runs ULA. think his brother lived there for awhile, and he spent some decent time down there couple years ago.

Belize is the only country in Cental America that I haven't been to so I can't help with Belize specifically, but I have been to canyons that are pretty close to Belize if you have time to cross the border.

I've been to Belize but did no canyons. Lots of Mayan ruins, birds and monkeys though.

I went on a dive trip there (loved the blue hole)
we did the cave tubing. It was a mellow, but fun thing to do. After getting back I remember kicking myself for not trying to dig up some canyoning trips while there.
