Wow! Between this and the shooting at the federal courthouse in Las Vegas yesterday, I can't imagine the nightmare that these families are suffering right now. I hope they get this guy soon.

And don't forget the Millard County Policewoman who got shot and died while pulling over a car near Delta, this morning...

We should all get our concealed firearms permits, perhaps we too may at sometime have to prevent or minimalize such tragedies. Though I don't think it's for the light harded, I believe using a weapon even in the act of heroism can have detrimental effects on one mentally. I get reminded of that everytime I watch the movie Unforgiven.
That's what I was talking about. Sorry I wasn't clear.

that's what I was thinking when you said "this", but then I thought something else happened too.
So, it looks like they know who the killers are!

We've had 6 LEO's killed in the past 45 days up here. Two others were shot but survived. The latest is having his memorial today in Tacoma.

The good news is that 2 of the 3 killers were killed in return. The one who did survive was shot and is now paralyzed forever.
Midvale also lost a police dog last week, it was shot while in persuit of several people who were burglarizing a home.
Three were involved in the crime, one was shot in the return fire from the initial shooting, and died later at the hospital. One taken into custody and one female still not aprehended last I heard.
Be careful and stay safe out there all you LE professionals, times are tough and the criminals aparently more bold or desperate than ever.

I guess the perp in the Millard County shooting had just sold drugs to the Sheriff's brother before she was gunned down. Man, that guy (brother) will have a big burden to carry with him for the rest of his life.
