After following the recent Larry Canyon SAR I thought it might be of interest to some on this forum to have a bit of information and possibly clear up misconceptions or misinformation regarding Intermountain Life Flight backcountry search and hoist rescue operations. I

That's one tough, focused guy. I don't know much about short hauls but that must have been pretty sporty!

It kind of makes me feel old when I can remember the Alouette III's flying around. Seeing that aircraft at UVRMC on a Boy Scout outing is what fueled my desire to pursue my current occupation.
