View Full Version : Anyone biking over Christmas time?

I was just curious. I bike all the time up here...just change to the much bigger tires for snow.

I was on the trails on foot last night and I didn't see a single tire track, the snow was fairly deep, I couldn't imaging riding in that.

I'm gonna go ride tomorrow down in the river bottoms trails here called 'channel surfing'. I got my vid camera working and have been dying to test it out!

If I can find some time away from the basketball team. Only time will tell. Oh...and no snow tires needed :)

I haven't finished putting the Christmas lights on the touring bike yet.

we ride all year long down here... well i do. i might die from shock if i see kent on the trail this winter. :lol8:

Hey now...I was up at 4am and just got home. Basketball season, house shopping, and a pregnant wife. I'd much rather be hitting a trail man. Much less stress.

I have got to get back in shape for the season, but it's so hard to go to the gym and ride a stationary or spin class bike during the winter months. My "plan" is to be in shape for the season this year instead of getting in shape during the season.

I havent stopped riding much even with the cold weather...and spinclass has become slightly addictive - really. We average 10 people in the class over hald the time and the rest of it you better be signed in so you can get a bike cause we turn people away. I had spinclass today(sat) and this afternoon rode a trail & took some vid between customers. It was a good day! :2thumbs:
