Anyone heard of this route or done it?

I'm in the process of wrapping up school and with the possibilities of moving somewhere outside of Utah, I've been looking into what's around. If I end up in California, this one looks pretty gnarly.

The Seven Teacups is an awesome canyon, one of the best I've done in CA. Be sure to know your class "C" canyon skills, as this one has tons of moving water. In the Spring, the water is so high you have to stay out of it for most of the canyon. In the Summer, you can have a blast jumping into pools and swimming in the current. In the Fall you can do the canyon in a more traditional sense because the water level drops so much.

Be very careful in the Spring crossing the Kern, people down almost every year in that river.

You don't have to hike around from the back, it's very easy to just climb up from the bottom on canyon left.

In the Fall

Same falls in Spring, too much water to safely go through it

In the spring, too dangerous to go into the bowl
