Disappeared yesterday afternoon around 3:30pm (or so) from our house. No indication that he got out of an open gate or hole in the fence (gates were locked and we couldn't find any location where he may have crawled out).
Boxer-Mix. Has goofy Jack Russel terrier ears, is about 40 pounds with a brindle colored coat. Tips of the feet, tail and nose are white.

About 8 months old..
Some reports indicate he may have been spotted North of my house -- possibly into West Jordan.

You dog is beautiful. I really hope you find him.
Good luck, I know I'd be crazed if my dog ran away. Hopefully a good person will find him.

Hope you find him, Id be distraught if my dog disappeared.
Have you considered how to keep him home once you find him?
I had a 4 foot fence, my dog jumped that like it was not even there.
look at the chain link (I assume you have chain link, not wood) sometimes its not tight enough and with no stay across the bottom they can push on it and slide under it with out ever having to dig or leaving a sign of passing.
I would also start thinking that maybe someone stole him?
my dog was stolen one day when I was out riding, by chance I was coming home and was one street over and ran in to some kid (14 or 15) with my dog on a rope to her collar. I pulled over to ask him about his dog, he insisted it was his, even after I pointed out my collar on her, my address and phone on the collar, and her trying to get away from him and to me. Hell he was dragging her down the street to begin with.
Being as I love my dog, and i hate a thief, I called the cops and took back my dog.
Check the shelters, give them a pic and your number in case it comes in, try posting a pic and story on craigslist.org and the pet section of KSL. Its against he rules, but Id put that ad up in the free section as well as they get alot more looks than anything else there.
Good luck finding your dog!

Dog recovered near Bangerter just about 30 minutes ago. Guess he spent a cold night outside and a few hours behind doggy-jail bars! (at South Jordan animal control).

Thanks. Yes, we found out how he got out. Seems Qwest has a main junction box in the far corner of our yard. Most of the block gets their utility access through this junction. Seems they must have been out recently (without telling us) and dug a small access hole under our North side fence.. The dog seems to have enlarged the hole and escaped into our neighbors yard to the North.
Yes, he was worn out, cold and humbled (funny to see a puppy act like he knows he's been busted).
Thanks.

I'll jump on board too and say how glad I am you found him. I don't know what we'd do if ours went missing. -R
