I know this is a bit old for a TR (the summer), but since Winter is fast approaching and canyoneering for the most of us is done till next spring, I wanted to share these pics of rappelling down Battle Creek Falls.
This was done in July and there was PLENTY of water, so I imagine anytime before this and you will get a beating, worse than we did. And yes, we know about no helmets so no lecturing please. Thanks to Jumar (Jeff) for the inspiration.
And I'm the one wearing white hawaiian swim trunks...and no wet suits needed. Water was perfect.
Lastly, this is one of the best cascading spots I've done. Very easy hike back to the top of the falls and repeat. We all went down 5 times in over an hour.
