You also have to wonder what would have happend if it were the other way around.

What if three Iranians "accidentally" and illegally crossed the border into the United States? I would bet the US reaction would have been somewhat the same as Iran's (minus perhaps the espionage
charge). I would bet they wouldn't be released in a fast manner either.

I hope they are OK and hope everything turns out alright.
