Bike shops in SLC area

I'm new to the area, here from Connecticut for the winter. Currently staying on the U of U campus with my cousin, moving to Alta for the winter come November 10th though. Looking to check out some of the local bike shops to talk trails and whatever else with the people there. Any suggestions? Willing to travel, by bike of course!

Contender at 9th & 9th or Guthries on 21st South, both close to you and excellent shops.

I have to agree with Guthries....it's the top of my list. Talk to Richard Goddard there. Then GoRide Bikes. awesome for freeride/DH. :2thumbs:
