looking for TECH canyons in Swell/escalante area.

I have a few days off and, since i have exhausted zion and have never ventured outside the park, was hoping to get some tips on some long technical canyons in the area. I will be checking the book's sometime tomorrow, just wondering if anyone had some suggestions.
looking for a good full day affair.


Also how does zion (namely KOLOB HEAPS IMLAY) hold up to other canyons in the swell/ESc. area.

Kolob, Heaps and Imlay are different animals only found in Zion. The Swell canyons match up well with Zion canyons in skill required. Escalante, Powell, North Wash, Roost canyons are a step up, particularly in the amount of physical climbing, squeezing, anchor skills and navigation required...
