From the BLM:

Crystal Cave is now open for visitor use thru March 31st. Folks can contact our office for a permit. Please pass this on to the cavers. There are calcite rafts floating in the Lake Passage now.

Hmmm...I was thinking of going canyoneering next weekend. But maybe I should go do this instead?

I was in Lehman Cave over the 24th weekend and the rangers there said that you still need to contact the Bates, who own Gandy and Crystal Ball, to get into those caves.

wow don't start the who owns it now debate... I think that is going to court soon :popcorn:

Thanks for the clarification.. Don't know where Crystal cave is guess I will have to do some investigating..

Crystal Cave is out on the border of Utah and Nevada. You actually have to drive into Nevada and then cross back into Utah. Here are some of my pictures from Crystal Cave in 2007 (unfortunately all my cave pictures are always crappy :) ).
