Red Pine in the fall

I took a little hike the day befor the snow fell to get a last look of the fall colors. I climbed all the way to the ridgeline above the Red Pines and considered going the rest of the way to the pfieferhorn but the 60+ mile an hour wind on the ridge helped me decide to turn around. It was beautiful though. Here are some pics.

Hey, so I'll tell you what I do every time, especially with fall colors. There's just something about getting those pictures back and thinking "it looked much better in person". So I always run them through Picasa by hitting the "I'm feeling Lucky" button. 95% of the time, it does a great job.
