Heard that a flash flood in Heaps recently almost impacted some of our friends from Mapleton. Any truth to the rumours? :popcorn:

Unfortunately I was not there but my fire rope was and it came out alive. My understanding was that Heaps was tippy-top full but did not flash, at least when they were there. Behunin on the other hand did. This was what, two weeks ago? Anyway, no epics for the Mapleton boys. They were done in time to cook for the ACA pot luck that night. I sent my rope and my pork and chicken and I didn't get to go....... :frustrated:

Oh how I long for some more of that Dutch Oven cooking. Maybe a repeat FreezeFest performance in December?
